Making Us Proud

Tonight Lee Anna got to participate in her very first choir program. She's been able to go to choir on the Wednesday nights that we've been in town these last few months, and tonight was their spring program. I found out just a few days ago that she was supposed to have a costume from either a country or state, but luckily we were able to scrape something up. :)

At the end of the program, they gave awards to the kids who had perfect attendance or who had missed just one rehearsal all year. Lee Anna, on the other hand, could probably have gotten the award for the fewest rehearsals attended! I was proud of her, though. She had learned the songs well and did a great job!

After the program, Daddy introduced the kids to one of his family traditions - the after-program trip to McDonald's!

We were proud of our little singer. Here's a clip from one of the more familiar songs they did. Enjoy!

  1. Lee Anna, You did great! And...you look like some of my negihbors! good job! Aunt Stacey (and M, M and M)

  2. I love the Coke shirt. Personally, I drink Fayrouz...peach of course.

  3. So sweet! Hope you are well. . . I know you are really enjoying this time in the states.
