Say Cheese!

And here are the long-awaited grandkid photos from Grandpa's visit last month. He took many more, but these are some of our favorites. You can tell from the ratio of Sawyer to Lee Anna pictures which child sat still long enough to have his picture taken, and which one didn't!The above and below shots when we took Grandpa for a sunset dinner on the river. We bought sandwiches and took them with us to eat on the boat. The boats are small, flat sailboats with bench seating and a table in the middle. It costs about $4 to take one out for an hour! As you can see, Sawyer only made it through part of the trip before he crashed.

We just thought this face was funny!

And here are two shots (above and below) of the Davis kids looking older than they really are. The one of Lee Anna looks like it should be followed by her bio in some professional publication!

Today we are joined by Miss Lee Anna Davis, a native of Cleburne, Texas who has lived almost half of her life in Northern Africa. She speaks English and Arabic equally well, specializing in juvenile phrases such as "Gimme," "That's mine," and "I don't want to!" She is currently conducting an in-depth study of the children's movie The Little Mermaid, requiring her to watch it at least once daily, sometimes more. Some of her previous research projects include "How many different pairs of shoes can I wear in one afternoon?," "How many liters of bath water can I pour on Sawyer's head before he screams?" and "How long will it take Mom to put my hair in pigtails if I never stop moving?"

And here is Mom's favorite shot. What a precious baby! How in the world can he be 1o months old already?

  4. Hey guys! I just wanted you to know that our 2 year old has been conducting her own research on the Little Mermaid, from a Western European standpoint. She has deducted that any scene with Scuttle is definitely the funniest. I'm just glad it's not Bambi anymore.
